I need help identifying this sculpture - does anyone out there know? It is made from resin and rebar and was in a Mid Century Henry Hester House in San Diego - it was bought in the late 60's, early 70's. Ant help or direction would be greatly appreciated!
It is extraordinary and wonderful and clearly by an accomplished artist.
Maybe a larger modern art museum could provide help? Send them an email with photos - asking is the first step.
Are you sure it's resin? I think it marble. What is the discoloration on the faces?
Looks like it is called "Squeeze". Oh! The sale is this weekend! (Scroll down to second set of pics.) They have it title squeeze. There is a link where you can ask a question about it. Click on the titled pic & then on the 'stacked paper' icon.
