Here is a photo of a lovely old Staffordshire Solider. After much searching I thinks he is a British solider of the 55th Regiment of Foot, Grenadier 1777.

It has been in my family for over 90 years and is a bit battered and broken. He is missing a finger and part of his rifle. There are cracks on his legs, but I love him.
