I inherited these from my Grandmother. I think the set belonged to her mother, who was born around 1870. My father's family was originally from Scotland, emigrated and settled in Louisiana.
I'm intrigued by the markings on the backs of the chairs, the circle of stars. Has anyone seen these before?
