No marks! Gold Tone metal. Every flat oval link is held together by either a white enamel Rhinestone-centered double Daisy or Mum flower; or a Rhinestone 'Fleur de Lis'. Each has an elaborately stamped & turned metal clasp in the back that holds the links. (Possibly brass.)
Choker is 12 inches long with a 2.5" blue milk glass extension. Simple hook clasp. Bracelet is 7 inches with a safety chain, folding lock clasp.
Any idea of maker? That is are pretty distinctive construction. I'm assuming 1940-1950's? VERY little enamel loss on the metal flowers. Only one rhinestone missing, and I always have to look to find where.
Alot of jewelry uses the Fleur de Lis but when i was doing research on a piece i had it noted that Swank used this alot. Notvsure if this is ,but thats all i got. Lol Very nice collection.
Celiene, such a pretty set!!!!
Sooooo Beautiful!!
Unusual !
Very interesting!!
Beautiful!
You can see the one missing stone on the bracelet 4th in from the right. I thought maybe the elaborate links would give some clue!
Hello Celiene, very beautiful pieces and unusual. As a child I had something somewhat similar in pale blue enamel with rhinestones in the centre. I don't know where it was from or if it hade the same elaborate links as yours has. The links looks a bit spanish to me with the metallpattern but it also looks a little bit like it's imitating the metall filigree work you can see in antique czech glass bead necklaces. I'm just telling you the thoughts I have, sorry I can't give you an answer.
My necklace and matching bracelet was my actually my mums but she let me play with it (?! She is a nice mum and I was quite careful). I think she still has it but stored away. I hope we will find it again one day.
I think you are right about the age 1940-1950, I have a feeling it's closer to the 50s. Let me know if you find an answer to this mystery. Great jewelry!
Thank you all! I guess it will have to remain a mystery.
Very pretty Design ........and Nice color too !!!
