Los Castillo Small Porcelain Plate - Taxco, Mexico

i was immediately drawn to the beautiful cobalt blue design of parrots on this small, porcelain plate. I couldn't read it at all at first, then i figured out that it says "Los Castillo - Taxco - Mexico". I thought that they only produced silver and metal items, but this is a very beautiful, small porcelain piece - probably 1970s.
