Vintage milk glass earrings and necklace

The old: I've had these earrings for a long time, but I don't wear them as they don't "go" with anything else I have. I don't know who they originally belonged to so I'm not sure how old they are. I had thought mid-century but maybe they're earlier? Any input would be appreciated.

The central big bead has been glued on (you can see the glue round the edges at the back. The smaller hanging drops are secured by a brass pin, and they have a brass screw-fitting back. They remind me of Pan Drops! (Is that a particularly Scottish mint sweet or does anyone else know them?)

The new: I found the string of white glass beads in a local charity shop. They're in good, clean condition, knotted in between each bead with a brass barrel screw clasp. I thought about it for a few days then bought them for £4. I've seen similar for less on auction sites, but by the time you add on postage they would be about the same price. So not a bargain, but I don't think they were everpriced either. I love how fresh they look, and I finally have something to match my earrings! I fear it is the start of the slippery slope to collecting though...
