My daughter's received these from their great great aunt. I don't know anything about dolls. One has a tag that states Dandee International (the plaid dress) the Blue dresses doll has "Collectors Choice" on base of skull.
The Dutch doll has no markings, their bodies are stuffed, extremities are ceramic type material.
Any info on these would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
These are mass produced dolls out of China. Millions have been made. They are meant to be decorator dolls and aren't considered to be collectible.
These dolls were popular in 1980's 1990's at a time when true antique dolls were at a peak in price so the antique type dolls were made for doll collectors and sold like crazy in hopes they would gain value . Many were not cheap to buy a few have good value those done as artist originals but the one's like yours were mass produced and sold in magazines , home shopping TV ect . The market is flooded with these porcelain dolls and therefore the low prices. I would cherish them as gifts from her Great Aunt . Oh I might add the biggest market for buying these dolls were women 50 yr and older . They were never intended to be toys but collected on a display shelf . Some were made in USA and many like efesgirl said were made in China and Taiwan . The artists sent there molds there from USA, Germany or where ever to made cheaper in those countries and then shipped back to USA which was biggest buyers of these dolls .
Here's a bit more info about them:
