I purchased a matching pair of really lovely porcelain vases directly from a gentleman in China about 10 years ago via eBay. I was told that they are antique, but I cannot verify this. They could be reproductions. I loved them from the moment I set eyes on them. They are displayed on a floating mantle over our bed.
I know nothing about the vases or the identification mark on the bottoms, which is a green leaf.
The measurements are approximately:
19-3/4" high
14-3/4" high to the shoulder
4-3/4" at the base
6-1/4" at the shoulder
5-1/2" at the top
The fanciful mark is meant as an artemisia leaf.
When the Ming dynasty (ethnically Han Chinese) was overthrown by the Qing (Manchu), there was an unsettled period when use of the Kangxi emperor's reign mark on porcelain was severely restricted. The porcelain producers resorted to using other marks, one being an artemisia leaf, i.e., instead of characters spelling out the Kangxi emperor, a drawing of a leaf in underglaze blue was used. The green leaf on your vases is so obviously not like the period leaf marks that it was never trying to pretend. The pink colours on the vase also did not in the Kangxi period.

Noob gives some great information here! thanks Noob! one thing to be aware of is that the Chinese government strictly forbids exporting any antiques from China, so if it is bein done in the open, you can be sure that your piece is not an antique.
