it belonged to an old lady who ran the exact store that im running now i beleve they date back to 1947 when the store was sold to a previous owner he took them before selling to me i thought they were long gone but i bought them back it is in good shape and work like new everything still original last time it was serviced was in 1976 and now they are were they belong for people to enjoy these scales have alot of history weighing everything from meats to cheeses to even babies exc. i also remember these scales from my childhood it weighs up to 30 lbs , weighs in ounces, grames and more.

yes in a rural area one of the oldest country corner store still running the building is at least 95 years old
