I found this treasure today and am completely intrigued by it. If anyone knows any information about its origin, time it was created, or anything to fill in the story I would be much appreciative. I believe it is Asian (from the markings on the bottom). The faded marking in the one picture that looks like roman numeral 6 (VI) is actually marker...not from the artist (I'm not sure how to remove it, or if I should). Thanks everyone!

I'm not sure this is correct but I think the signature may be turned 90 degrees. The character at the top looks like an S to me.

There's another one like this on eBay but I didn't have any better luck deciphering that signature. Hopefully someone else will see something they recognize.

The name is Schiller. Very nice find! The one listed on eBay is not the same as yours. The photos on terapeak show the signature.

Nice job, Bonnie! That one was really going to frustrate me until someone solved it.
