Clay Art Pottery Vase

Hi all,
New poster here, but I am stumped by a recent thrift store purchase. It's a small footed vase, clay and glazed, possibly stretched. The colors remind me of Picasso's madoura pieces. I do not know enough about art pottery to discern whether this is just an interesting thrift store find or something that was clearly created in a time by an artist whom is recognizable by an expert's eye.
