This I think is a early Bernard Instone brooch. In his earlier pieces he would sign made in England, silver and B.I, I would say this brooch is either the 1920s - 30s, but I could be wrong.
The garnets are especially pretty with a deep red colour which compliments the silver.

Hi Karen, yes the trip was amazing thoroughly enjoyed myself. The history and culture was a treasure to behold, I shall always remember. I'm planning my next trip, it will probably be Burma.
