6" tall 4.5" wide... no clue at all. I have recently acquired 2 boxes or china, frames, depression glass and pottery that I have never seen before.

No marks at all on the base?

No identifying marks. There is a receipt inside. The name of the potter (japanese) is illegible except for the last 5 letters. "tsuma", is all I can get from it. The receipt is dated 1923 and sold for $25.

Is it possible to take good, clear, focused pictures of the receipt and post it separately??? [;>)

Well, not satsuma anyway. I have an over 100 year old decorated button and I recognize your vase probably isn't cause I don't see the usual crackle, altho the color is certainly right.(and the clay.)
