Bought in one of the local thrift shops. I knew it was old when I looked at the bottom, but didn't yet know how old. I have posted here, somewhere, a piece of "fake" Wedgwood that dates from a few years earlier.
Thanks to Mary for helping me with the marks. I now understand how to interpret old Wedgwood pottery marks.

The 3 letter HIM is your date codes, M being 1910. The others maybe the potters mark
mary1956 - Thanks, I understand now, but the word "England" is not on the pot. The webpage says: "After 1891 ENGLAND will appear with the mark."
The "M", in that case, would be 1884.
