Greek Athena Zeus Coin Letter Opener

I picked this up at a flea market last weekend. it appears to be cast metal. The handle is made up of replica coins - one a tetradrachm and the other a drachm, picturing Athena and Zeus respectively. The middle coin depicts the Parthenon.

I've found a few similar ones online without much documentation. The blade seems odd for a letter opener. The others are clearly souvenirs with "Athens" stamped on the blade. This does not. Any information is welcomed.

I'm wondering if it's possible this had a ritual use.
