Tool is approximately 11 inches in length. It has a wood handle and metal end. Would love to know what it is.

Not sure...But maybe handle for a cane, looks like there is wear on the high part of spear part where cane may have fit...
Unfortunately, there's no way to attach it to a cane. It seems more suited for puncturing something. Kind of like a keg bung tool??? Would love to find out for sure what it is.
It's a dibber. Found this on Google: "A dibber or dibble or dibbler is a pointed wooden stick for making holes in the ground so that seeds, seedlings or small bulbs can be planted. Dibbers come in a variety of designs including the straight dibber, T-handled dibber, trowel dibber, and L-shaped dibber."
