Hello everyone.
Decided to clean out my huge amount of mostly costume jewellery the other day and came across this brooch which I has forgotten about.
I bought it 10 years ago because I loved the dragon with the pearl in his mouth. I have worn it a couple of times.....but need to be a bit careful because that wing tip on the pearl side is really sharp!!!!
I think this is described as Damascene and I am thinking 1960's to whenever? Have not been able to find one like it though. He measures one and three quarter inches in wingspan.

Yes, this is called Damascene and is 1950s/1960s period.

Wonderful dragon - just don't wear him with loopy and delicate clothes.
There is lots of Amita damascene jewellery on Etsy Judy but none with pearls so he must be very SPECIAL!
