I picked these up at a little local thrift shop. The micro-mosaic brooch is an early one, as it has a safety pin clasp. The clay brooch is somewhat later in date. I have to admire the workmanship put into both brooches. Talent and patience!
Thanks for stopping by!

Had me worried there for a moment Karen, having to tick "I am over 18" LOL!!
All I can say is WOW.....these are fantastic!!! I didn't know what Fimo was either!!
Oooooh, love that micro mosaic one, Bonnie!!! :)
I love the first one Bonnie! The placement of the mosaics in the flower garden is superb, and the result is fantastic!
The micromosaic is very pretty!!
Thanks, all! I go back tomorrow evening (9/6/2016) to the same shop. There are about 6 more jewelry boxes filled to the brim, none of which has been put out on display. The shop opens at 5:30 pm and I will be waiting at the door!
karen - OH MY!!! Gorgeous beyond words. My house would be full....
There is a lot of work put into this, it's very pretty. It's clay and paint? Are they all made like this?
OMG Karen! Why did I have to see that link!!! Beyond words is right EG. Now I'll be on the lookout for that but bet it won't get found for anything less than retail!!! And if that's reasonable (HA) I may just have to go for it...Amazing!
Hi Bonnie. What thrift store is that exactly? Only kidding, I couldn't get there if I wanted to. What great items and bargains!
Stunning! Incredible skill.
