From the long ago when potato chips were sold in a box. This is a twin pack. 59 cents would be a great buy for potato chips now. Will take a wild guess of 1950s for this.
The company was started in the 1930s and was sold to Borden in the 1980s the brand was discontinued in the 1990s.
No mention of Borden on this box and no UPC code. eiser's also sold potato chips in tins. This could be from the 1930s but the price seems a bit high for that period.
Once again the box has great color and graphics as is typical with vintage items.

That's pretty cool!!! I've never seen a potato chip box. I remember the twin packs of potato chips. Not even sure if you can still get the twin packs any longer. I believe the only potato chips today that are available in a tin are Charles Chips.

I'd guess 60s, from the look of the artwork, and the price. Is there an address printed on the box? That sometimes helps to date an item.

Thank you very much Thomas. I believe there is a recipe for deviled ham dip on the box.

Thank you very much katherinescollections. Found a picture of the factory and company history but not a date for the box.
