Found this at GW and because of Bonnie's posts was able to identify this as Sterling Silver. (The Lion) (The Lion) She continually posts these and other images of marks and I actually remembered it. I had other pics and info due to her information and sold it for a pretty good profit and I felt so empowered!!!
I drink gravy straight like shots but bigger. Sometimes I add rice, potatoes, bread, pasta. Paper cup from the chicken place works. Seriously Gravy is my favorite food. How fitting?? ;0)
Thanks Bonnie!!
LMAO!!You are very welcome...and that's a lovely gravy boat! Don't polish it too much....
Made in 1940 in Sheffield by Edward Viner, Viner's Limited.

I love the brown food group best.....
Wonderful gravy boat! LOL, I didn't know that gravy was a food group, but, now that I know that, I won't feel so badly about adding it to my daily diet:)
Yeah!!! Great info turned in great buy :-)
Isn't it great to be able to identify something on your own based on what you've learned here at CW Tonja? Congrats!
I bet you have a bunch of good gravy recipes...
We're addicted too :-)
Lol funny.Way to go lucky ducky.
Bonnie, Karen, Scott, Kyra and Rick: It is absolutely wonderful to retain knowledge you all give so kindly, and to find it only in thrifts locally. l owe it to everyone here. I feel like part of a dream team. If they won't put out the glass, ...I'll go look for the silver, or the pictures or wood. ;)
Thanks for the loves too everyone: ho2, Bonnie, Peasjean, Tassie, Thomas, mel, Karen, Scott, edkal, EZA, sklo, kyra, pops, fort, Mani, Rick, the Gatherer, arua, and Nevada. :)
