I aquired this thermometer from a local flea market a few years ago. It was made by Parisian Novelty Co. of Chicago Il. For Abbottmaid Ice Cream. The thermometer measures 6.25 inches long by 2 inches wide & is "cream" colored. The print on the top edge near the hanging hook reads "Parisian Novelty Co Chicago Pat. 10.5.1923. It is starting to crack and flake on the edges and on the front. The thermometer is accurate. I think it makes a good addition to my antique ice cream scoop collection. If anyone has any other information about this little thermometer it would be greatly appreciated.
