      Marks can be 1.Painted over-glaze 2.Painted under-glaze 3. Impressed
      Search for impressed marks, they are easily overlooked. Look at different angles.

      Possibly Nippon Moriage?

      Is the top part applied metal, or ceramic? I think MeliG may be on the right track if it is all porcelain. The raised relief details are often referred to as moriage ware. Also someone told me that if the spout is at the top, it’s a chocolate pot, a coffee pot spout starts further down the body, then goes up. Don’t know if that’s true or not
