This lamp was given to my grandparents as a gift back in the 1950s. It used to be kept in back bedroom. I have had this lamp since the 1980s. It used to have a fiberglass lamp shade which fell apart after about a decade of use by me. I used it daily as it was desk lamp by my computer. Since then I bought a cheap map shade at target which also disintegrated. For several years now the lamp has just been sitting around with no shade until last week.
For the last month or so I have been searching antique malls and eBay for a proper fiberglass lampshade and finally found one on eBay for a reasonable price.
Now the lamp has a proper shade and is now in my bedroom on top of a dresser along with several other vintage items.

Sweet! Does the the phone still work?

Thank you very much antiquerose. I don't have a land line so it is hard to test it. Plus it isn't modular and needs to be hard wired. Everything is there and it should work.
