I found this little gem at a local thrift shop for $2. It's about 3 inches long and 1.5 inches tall. I can see some old red and gold paint on the bird. The strange part is that it has a push button and an old electrical cord (but no plug). I have no idea what it's supposed to do, but I just love it.
UPDATE: A BIG Thank You to IVAN49 who quickly identified this as a table servant bell electric ringer. I've added a few more photos to show the remnants of paint color and the inside mechanism. (I unscrewed 4 small flat-head screws to remove the bottom plate). The only mark I found was "21" on the inside of the bottom plate.

It`s table servant bell electric ringer. The cord was connected to low voltage DC bell.
      Look at mine here:

Search for marks. You have 3 more pictures option. Is it cold painted bronze? Those bells can be very valuable. Show us more details, please.Thanks.

It looks like cold painted Vienna bronze. Beside ``21`` there seems to be a circular mark, possibly ``Austria``. Cannot read it. Very valuable, anyway.

Thank you, IVAN49, for the terrific information. I'm going back to that thrift shop!
