I have this Ansonia clock. I do not know anything about the clock. There was a newspaper clipping inside that males me it is a French clock, but I am unsure. would like to know more about the clock like it's date and where it was made if anyone could help me out with that. Thank you!

This is an American manufactured Ansonia porcelain clock. The model names is the "La Cannes" and it is from circa 1904. Royal Bonn porcelain is considered to be some of the best porcelain used by Ansonia and so it is very collectible. From what I can see in your photos, you clock appears to be in pretty good condition. Here's a brief and very informative history of the Ansonia Clock Company: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/clocks/ansonia

Hope that helps. Thanks for sharing your Ansonia with us.

Thank you! Is there any research materials on the clocks like books or articles? I tried using goggle but I couldn't find any sold materials that could give me more information on the clock.
