My girlfriend has a bigger collection of antiques. She got this a few years ago and still to this day has a zero clue on what it is. Can anyone tell us how to look items like this up and my Candy/Butter dish too? We looked at patterns books and well we can't figure this out. When guests stop over, they what's that and we say - don't know but we love it.

This item has a handle, 3 legs, and a spout. We assume it is a rare water pitcher. Unsure?

Is that Spatterware?Spongeware, or some offshoot, update of either.. Just guessing. Its not my area of knowledge. Cute, but it doesn't "feel" that old to me. I see probably stenciled leaves pattern here and there.Good luck with your quest. Wish I could have been more help. Others here will know just what this is.
