English oak carved chest, it's been in the family for generations and has the later addition of wheels as it is so heavy to move around. It is very neatly lead or tin lined, we are never sure why though, maybe someone out there could answer that for me.
It is carved on three sides and is very large 4'5" across 2' front to back and stands 27" high not including the wheels.
Over the years and generations it must have been used for many things my Mum used it for blankets and quilts, I use it to store Christmas presents I buy throughout the year. If there were ever a fire, I would risk my neck to save this chest, it means so much to me.
