This plate is great. It comes from Coast Guard famous and neighbouring town of Grand Haven, Michigan, in 1917. On it, the ship New York steaming proudly through crashing waves.
It also fits into my like of pictorial advertising plates. Sadly, the crack goes all the way through.
On it, also, is the year's calendar as well as various Navy-themed flags.
