These were a group buy from the States a while back.
I think these were made in Japan, 1950s, and when I search these that seems the consensus.
I do have a later cut crystal pendant by Hoya in this style that I posted here a few years back.
The first is iridised so that it has a bit of a colour change to it. It's mount and chain is unmarked but is probably rolled gold.
The second is a lovely opalescent blue, and I really like the heron sitting on the bamboo next to the pagoda. It's bale and chain are marked sterling silver.
The third is quite plain and is possibly slightly earlier than the others. It's chain and bale are also marked Sterling.
Karen, these carved pagodas pendants are delightful! Specially love the blue opalescent :-)
Karen these are all gorgeous...love them very much!
I love the fish hook clasps on the second and third pendants.....I usually only see these on pearl necklaces.
I've never seen such pendants. They're beautiful!
I agree with Bonnie, I've never seen anything like these. My favorite is number two!
Thanks Pascale - the blue's my fave too.
Maybe fish hooks are a very Japanese thing Judy, after all most of our pearls were from there too. Glad you like these!
I'm surprised Bonnie that you haven't seen these before! You will probs find some now lol. Thanks :)
Thanks Thomas - always happy to hear from you.
I agree with you too Rick! Thanks for the love.
OMG if you are awake, I need to go to sleep. :(
Nice pieces you have here. Bonnie is very inspiring as are you, and others. :)
