I placed it on my eBay invoice. I have troubles, when I buy something from eBay and put it here CW removes it as image coming from eBay--BUT Isn't this now MY IMAGE? with invoice provided. Or my item number shown In my mind surges the question----if I bought it---is it ebays, the seller's , or mine?
That out of the way--I do have a spooky felling about this ORIGINAL, VINTAGE CARD, not a repro--I will photo back of card later. Logo CK(?) in a swirl, so light I can't see it and camera probably will give nothing up either.
I say,....What is the guy doing over the heads of the assorted gents--He is in a long white coat, they are nicely dressed, different ages.
Now I need Zak Bagans and Aaron Goodwin(from Ghost Adventures TV Show, SATURDAYS) to investigate the scariest postcard I own. It is old, see old wicker lawn stuff? They look like they are in front of a creepy house too. This can be my Halloween card to everybody
Why am I calling Ghost Adventures? HEY they would maybe see an "apparition" or "spirit" lower left on card that might be evidence of a presence fleeing the group or conjured but the guy with arms out in a trance
That is what THEY would say perhaps- But OK-Yes, I do believe in ghosts (Do I have a story for you!!)
I am going to send the photo to ZAK and find out his opinion-- Might be a bird or a kid on a bike---I know, I know.

First, I think the photo is most definitely yours to post as you please. Can't understand why it would be removed by CW staff.
The photo is a bit spooky. Like you, I most certainly believe in the spirits and the whole phenomena fascinates me to no end!!
The online version is the seller's or e-Bay's photo. You may own the piece, but you do not own the online version unless you were given the rights to it with permission (if you took the photo but gave away its exclusive rights, you do not own it either). That is how most sites see it.
Gotcha! Thanks. Now I will stop being removed. All my things that I had on here well over a year ago, when I repost like everybody else can--are removed. Maybe same "rights" and timing problem--hard to recall so far back.
Sad -- I am not allowed to post things here that I legally own and have possession of. .Once on eBay, the rights belong to them as SpiritBear has said (above) and CW removes it. We ALL need to know this, unfair as it seems...I, this time added my invoice, but I guess that may not be enough to prove ownership--once on eBay? Forget about trying to show it here. Sad, because a lot of what I buy in CDV, I bought on eBay to show you.I think there needs to be a change.
Re-reading SpiritBrears message--Now, are you saying as long as I have the receipt to post the photo ON top of, or next to so obviously it is authenticated here in front of me--I am OK?
This will mean if the seller doesn't provide an invoice I can copy and paste proof from ebay and show that at the time I post my picture and that will suffice? I CAN do that, so the problem should be solved.
