I Just Received A Gift From My Grandson..A TINTYPE.

My grandson Ty,( 21) just brought this to me. He had just came from vintage photo shopping spree--yes, he collects.. He thought I would like this, I do- Accents to the sweet young thing are:Blush pink cheeks, also the neck tie, and 2 flowers in her hand held flower basket pink too, and her pretty locket is touched with gold.No rings, I guess she is single.
This is a pleasant surprise I wasn't expecting--He did find some nice photos for himself-- The shop was going out of business--$1.00 each. We are both smiling.
He thinks it is "somewhere in the 1875-1885 era"
