This is an item that is frequently misidentified. It was made by Meyers Pottery as part of their "California Rainbow Garden & Patio" line of stoneware. It was available in three sizes (12, 18, and 24 inch) and eight different colors (turquoise, green, ivory, rose, orange, blue, yellow, and black). They are also found bisque fired with no glaze.

This example is a 12" size with the distinctive satin matte medium blue used by Meyers. The black vase, shown for size comparison, is a 6" Franciscan "Contours" #20 bud vase.
