I have this pendant with chain for years now. The chain was originally very long, so the silly crafty me made it shorter because at the time I thought "its just costume jewelry". On the chain there is written TOMBAK and ORM. The pendant is not marked, but the stone is a natural stone.
From internet - tombac - an alloy of copper and zinc (and sometimes arsenic) used to imitate gold in cheap jewelry and for gilding
I would be thankful for any additional info on this piece, as usual.
I don't know anything much about the type of stone in your pendant, but I like it very much. Looks "artsy craftsy" to me.

Could it be marble?
I would imagine it's an agate of some sort rather than marble.
