katherines…

So the clerk at the store where I bought these looked and looked and looked at them, then finally said, "This is so wrong." LOL! Two zaftig ladies on each cup with roses discreetly placed. Hand crafted, each of the ladies is different. Interior looks like a watermelon. No marks. I've searched high and low for the artist, can't find anything. Any ideas, theories, maps to hidden treasures, greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoyed seeing these, and thanks for looking.
MYSTERY SOLVED: The peeps on the FB Studio Pottery group came through! These were done by Sandra Magsamen. She is under license to several companies that produce her work in various forms, including tableware, tiles, which feature her artwork and positive reinforcement phrases.
LOL! Is the paint under or on top of the glaze?
Thanks for the love, Efesgirl, and jscott0363. :)
Bonnie, under the glaze. :)
OK then, that eliminates a homemade paint job. :-))))
I rather like these Katherine !!!

Oooh! Colorful, yummy, funny they made me smile! Love cups :-)
adore these ones
Thanks for the love, kyratango, and your sweet comment, so appreciated. :)
I had an opportunity to speak with the artist herself yesterday and today via FB PM, she confirmed these were hers, early work done about fifteen or twenty years ago. She was very surprised and pleased to see these cups again. I sent her all my photos and told her she was free to share them on FB and her website with her fans. :)
