Iconic John F. Kennedy Assassination Photo, November 22, 1963.
Signed by U.S. Secret Service Agent Clint Hill (seen in photo on
rear of presidential limousine).
Agent Hill was riding in the car immediately behind President
Kennedy's limousine. As the shooting started, he jumped off
his car and began running to the rear of the President's limo.
As JFK's car picked up speed, Agent Hill jumped onto the rear
bumper and crawled over the trunk in an effort to protect the
President and Mrs. Kennedy.
Agent Clint Hill was the only person who jumped into the presidential
limousine to protect the President and Mrs. Kennedy. He was later given a special award for conspicuous valor in the face of extreme danger.
