sweet little pair of german? bisque figurines

found this pair thrifting today. they were both so dingy they looked like they'd been for a round of chimney sweeping and I saw that they were cracked a fair bit, but for a couple bucks I couldn't refuse.

I don't know if this pair is German, but I do have a hunch. I'm also not sure if these cuties (who stand about 7 in.tall) are for sure antique, as I never usually find significantly old things thrifting. Either way, they look great with my other bisque dolls, so i don't mind dishing out a couple dollars for them!
