At first glance the orange one here looks like the red Tango vase I posted previously. However picture two shows the shoulder and curve to the rim to be different. The yellow is a different shape from the orange, not simply smaller.

The legs and feet are black and no matter how strong the light it is impossible to determine whether they are cobalt or amethyst.

The crimping tool used to form the feet creates a ridged surface. This is common to all.

Finally picture four shows three vases with the same black legs/feet. The rosebowl is Welz and thus I'm inclined to think that all are Welz.

This may help to support your suspicion, at least for the new orange and black one.

Thank you, welzebub, it does indeed help. The same shape but having had the rim cut at a lower point.

So do I Nevada Blades. That Welz décor is often found but that particular shape on legs is quite rare.

Hi Karen, I don't know about that, getting the proof positive can be hard. Often I'm just waiting for something to turn up......

Alfredo, do you realise just how rude you are.....and not for the first time!

I would add that Welz is quality glass, but only for those that actually know something about it!

Thank you, Rick, I appreciate it. But frankly I'm not upset just unwilling to let it go unremarked upon.

Hello olebodie. I apologise for not replying to you in time order. I don't know how that happened. However thank you for both parts of your comment :)

Totally agree with Rick, really no place whatsoever for doing this here or anywhere.
And for sure you do not deserve to be talk this way....:-( , you are the kindness in person.

I wouldn't call the legs/feet a Welz marker, although they all could be welz.
If you can't see any blue in the feet, they're probably black amethyst.
Great pieces, and pay Alfredo no attention. He just shows his true colors from time to time ;)

Hi, yesterdaysglass. I agree that the legs/feet of themselves are not a marker for Welz. I do however start to think Welz when I see feet that have been crimped by a tool that leaves ridges. There's at least one more Welz example with ridged feet amongst jagsrock's posts.

And thank you for your further remarks.....
