Help! Looking for info on this piece.

This was just given to me. It's very beautiful and full of patina. Was owned by an older woman. I can't find any stamps or markings. I don't know anything about antiques or if this is even one. It looks like maple? Very solid, no bend. There's a small crack where the seat meats the arm...not sure if that says anything about the wood or quality. The back spindles are curves to form to a back. But it's still very sturdy. Either way, I LOVE this and will keep forever. Any info would be appreciated!
