I just inherited these 2 beautiful figurines from my mother. She had received them as a wedding gift in 1941. We don’t know much about them but I plan on cleaning them up and displaying them on my mantel. Could anyone help in identifying them?
They are porcelain (or ceramic?) and stand 9” tall,
    Made in Italy by Trevir?
    British colonial?, Occupied Japanese?

Can't be Occupied Japan or British Colonial, seeing as they were made in Italy. :-)))
Trevir Vincenzia Italy, majolica figures, made probably around mid-century.

Another figure made by Trevir Vincenzia:

Thank you for the reply Efesgirl, I was kind of reaching with the description, I thought they looked Asian and then the red coat... After a quick google search I understand occupied japan better now so thank you for that also!
