I think Cupcake probably describes this shape pretty accurately. Now please tell me if any of you think I'm making a quantum leap by attributing this to Loetz. I have struggled to find any source on the internet that describes this style/decor as Loetz.

But what I did find, thanks to "vetraio50" who some time back put up a link to a short video of the Tango Exhibition at the Teplice Museum (2012).

    See the video here: http://multimedia.ctk.cz/?setSite=video-detail-pagein&documentId=6383477&idx=1&select-continue=1

Look between 13 and 15 sec. You can see what I think can be safely described as a collection of Loetz pieces and at 15 sec the focus is on a highly decorated lidded jar similar to mine. The jar in the video appears to be decorated in the style of Dagobert Peche. My jar is more elegantly understated, at least in my opinion.

So that's all I got for my id, would be grateful for any confirmation from the experts out there.

Warren @bohemianglassandmore nailed it for me... see below

Yes it is a beautiful color, and peaceful unlike the one in the video, which is a riot of applied art.

Brilliant......you're a star Warren! I was secretly hoping you would respond, guess I didn't search hard enough here on CW. I think I will change my rather flippant title to something more appropriate. I just gotta love yours too!!!

My pleasure - the piece in my original article is now in the collection of a close friend - we are just caretakers of these beauties - they have been floating around for 100 years. It's fun to imagine where they might have been all that time. :)
