Hello there, I was wondering if any of you kind people could help me identify the maker of this lovely bowl! Also any ideas regarding the age of it?(my thoughts are Art Deco but the gold throws me a little) I've googled endlessly to try and find this bowl but possibly I'm searching in the wrong area! Thanks in advance, Richie.

I have the same bowl, and I discovered it's Walther Glass, ie German. I bought mine at a local Xmas market in UK, but I don't think it's very old.

If you look closely at the bottom, close to the middle, you will find info printed on the glass. I can see it in the second photo.

Waltherglas makes some beautiful things. I have a number of their creations.

I checked my bowl, it has no writing on the bottom!

Looks like printing - 4th ripple from the left, toward the center. Looks like "Germany". If there's no printing there, then it's just matrixing due to the angle of the bowl.
