I picked this up during my vacation a few years ago to Sacramento. Was there on a pilgrimage to the railroad museum there.
The museum happens to be in Old Sacramento which is made up of buildings from the late 1800s along the Sacramento River.
While waiting for the train museum to open I found a nice little rock shop that had this unusual geode. It had red crystals and white crytals which make it look pink. The red can even be seen form the outside in photo three. There are some interesting swirls in photo 4. This one looks good from all sides.
Thank you very much olebodie. I'll have to get up north again along with gold country. Lots more to explore up there.
I think I went to that museum valentino97. It was a weekday and no trains were running but the roundhouse full of steam locomotives was open.
Thank you
