      The imprinted mark says Ashworth, and there is an Ashworth pottery. The red number is probably the pattern no. There is no England mark, so before the time pottery had to be marked with country of origin. Try googling Ashworth pottery!

      As yours doesn’t have the “England “ mark, it’s prior to 1891

      Sooper Dooper Efesgirl you nailed it. Although the plate that rosieboo101 shows only an impressed mark: 'Ashworth with a symbol underneath' - don't know what the symbol means; also a painted red 13 4675; and a dark blue or black painted 5.

      Wonder if the rosie's plate is older than the one on eBay? There are some sites where you can troll through numbers on a specific piece, from the town or county it was made in.
