After I whined to freiheit that I never find nice costume bangles, today I found this one in a basket with the crappy plastic bangles. It's quite a size, too: 1 3/4 "width and 2 3/4" diameter. Just tiny signs of wear, which it to be expected.
Is this 1950s? 1970s? Later?
Thanks for looking/loving, friends.

Thanks Ken! It almost looks like glass.....
So, how do you go about telling Lucite from Acrylic?
Gosh, what a fabulous colour!!! Love it
very disco.love it bon
Yes, val, but one can't tell which is more brittle till it's broken, right?
Davy - there is an interesting bit of info in this article which talks about Moonglow lucite. Hmmm, my bangle does seem to "glow".... :-))))
"Check if it has a “glow.” If the piece of jewelry in question seems to glow, it is probably vintage “moonglow” Lucite. Moonglow Lucite comes in a variety of colors, but always has the distinctive shine."

It's very nice, like the optical effect.
See what I mean??? LOL. [;>)))
Wow that's pretty!! Thought it was glass in the thumbnail.
val - I didn't think so, but was hoping! Oh well....
OGF - it does look like glass at first glance.
