These are photos of my Aurora Prehistoric Scenes kits put together to make a diorama. These kits had bases that fit together such that one could make a diorama like this. I believe I took these phots in the late 1990s. Looks like I left out some of the dinosaurs like the Triceratops, Styracosaurus and T Rex. This was from the age before digital cameras.
New improved posts will be coming for each of these kits.
These were made from 1971-1975.
Awesome! I had all these when I was a kid. From about age 7 to 12. I loved them. Had them all on shelves until our family cat jumped up there and knocked them all off. Of course I rebuilt them. Very cool!
I have always loved the look of Aurora Prehistoric kits. Never got any though. But yours are awesome, especially the dimetrodon,
Would you happen to have the allosaurus model with dripping saliva?
Thanks.
Oops. Just saw the allosaurus. Never mind.
but does it have the dripping saliva??? [;>))))))
Thank you very much iggy. I had the Tar Pit and Cro-Magnon Woman. They had to hang out with the Monster Scene models.
Thank you very much racer4four. I am sure you will see my allosaurus models which I posted after this one.
Thank you very much NevadaBlades. I thought it was supposed to be blood. Could be either I guess and yes it does.
