I love this piece. The colours are great. I cannot figure out the artist. I wonder if it is from France. Does someone recognize this? Thanks

The 'Epreuve de l'artiste' is Artist's Proof and the title is Ardenne. France it is ... the work is unsigned.
Thanks vetraio50. Artist proof by unknown artist. Ho-hum...it is so nice why not sign it?
I suppose it was for him/her and did not need to sign it. The trick will be to find a signed version of the Ardenne Forest.
It is indeed signed. Lucien Ardenne (1914 - 1993) , quite famous for his litographs.
Thanks OlafZ. You are right! I tried to find the artist but only info about Ardennes the area came up. This does not seem to be a litho.. No dots. A serigraph or woodblock maybe. Off to get it reframed.
