Four watches, all from circa 1960 and before.
I got the Precimax because of that great day window above six o'clock, very unusual.
The Nivada Antarctic was a model bought out because the Admiral Byrd Antarctic expedition in the 1950's was supplied with similar models by this company, and proved very popular from 1957 on. I think this is an early model as the company was forced to change it's name on the dial to Croton because the original name was similar to another company's name that had precedence.
The Zodiac is a favourite of mine, simple and elegant design.
The Oris is a stunning example, beautiful dial and hands.
Running on a simple pin-pallet movement, the cal. 392. This was the only pin pallet movement to earn COSC chronometer status.
Thanks for looking, Bob.
All 4 are great looking watches, but that Oris, WOW! [;>)
Thanks KJ, it is a looker all right!
Thanks for the loves guys.
