I would love any input on where these dolls are from and how old they are. Thanks

some of these dolls are called flag dolls. it depends on whether or not htey have a seam across the ear and what kind of shoes they wear.. in the 50's my sister and i bought them nude and made the outfits. their value probably isn't over $10 i have many of them and love them.

If they have knees that bend and eyes that close They might be Vogue Jill dolls. I had one about 1957 shortly before Barbie dolls.

      go to http://www.dollreference.com/hard_plastic_dolls.html
and you will see 3 types of dolls listed:

ca. 1950's-1960's Dress Me, Souvenir Tourist Dolls, 6-20" tall,  all hard plastic, sleep eyes usually in blue, mohair wig, jointed at neck and arms, straight un-jointed hips and legs.  These dolls were sold in baggies and were meant to be dressed by the new owner.  Many were used as souvenir dolls dressed in the local costumes of the region where they were sold.  May have also been used by churches and charities to dress and sell.  These were made by the thousands maybe even millions, by many different companies that made hard plastic dolls; Grant Plastics, Allison, Standard, Reliable, Royal (called Tiny Teen), Dolls Around the World and many more.

1951 Miniature Characters - Ar-Doll Creations, 8" tall, sleep eyes real lashes, series: Bride, Bridesmaid, Dolls of all Nations, and famous characters of Facts, by Standard Doll Company.

ca. 1950's Lingerie Lou, 12" tall, has jointed neck, arms and legs, sleep eyes with eyelashes, pierced ears with pearl earrings, washable dynel wig molded painted shoes, had an eight piece wardrobe, by Doll Bodies Company.
