I have nothing against baskets apart from them taking up a lot of space. However I had to buy this one and I'm sure you can see why. The spatter is the same as that on the bowl except for the black veining. On the basket the black that makes it Tango is added via the handle.
In spite of my best efforts I cannot establish whether the handle is cobalt or amethyst.

The decors are remarkably similar, aren't they?
I think so Ian. Apart from the veining the lidded bowl has an additional orange inner layer. The basket doesn't have this and so there is clear glass visible between the spatters.
This is a great comparison to see. I agree that the basic spatters are the same and by the same house. There are simply a couple of additional steps in production that were used to produce the covered piece.
Thanks welzebub. jagsrock has a fine example of this décor on legs.

sorry I hadn't commented. this confetti (uncased) with veining can be seen in both Kralik and Welz- possibly others too. Craigs example is clearly welz but the basket is Kralik. With the same materials and easy production process they were easy to copy
