This is a beautiful bowl in a Japanese style. I'm not sure if that is a chop mark on the bottom or just a glitch. Whatever it is, it's a really nice piece! it's over 9 inches across and about 2 inches tall. it's either a Japanese piece or studio pottery. i found it covered in dirt and grime in the gardening section of Urban Ore in Berkeley.
